This video is for units that don’t have a footbrake switch wire attached, just like my unit that always forgets the footbrake is still engaged while running. Some unit assemblers may forget to connect this wire.

TOOL:

• wire cutter

MATERIALS:

• electrical tape
• wire
• heat-shrinkable tube with a heat gun (optional)

PROCEDURES:

• look for a white socket with a single wire colored red and black under the dashboard
• cut and lengthen the wire
• wrap with electrical tape or a heat-shrinkable tube using a heat gun
• install the socket into the footbrake switch
• done
