The tensioner provides tension to the belt, which drives from the crankshaft to the camshaft, alternator, and water pump.

TOOLS:

• jack and stands
• wrenches
• 10 mm fallen wrench

Material:

• new tensioner bearing

Procedures:

• remove the compressor belt
• loosen the tensioner bearing
• remove the serpentine belt
• remove the tensioner bearing
• get the new bearing and install it
• put the serpentine belt
• tighten the belt using the allen wrench
• put the compressor belt
• done
